Latasha was born in Nuremberg, Germany to a German mother and American father. Her father was a US army soldier stationed in the area at the time. From the time she was five years old, her family including two younger sisters traveled her entire childhood and teenage years between the United States and Germany depending upon where her dad was stationed. These locations included Colorado, North Carolina and many parts of Germany such as Vilseck, Wildflecken and Hanau.
She finished American High School in Louisiana at 18 years of age and then joined the United States Air Force. She went to Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas before attending further training at Port Hueneme by Oxnard, California. After she finished her military schooling she was assigned to Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina and then to Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany.
During her assignment to Ramstein, she deployed seven months to Camp Arifjan in Kuwait, where she participated in Convoy duties escorting third world country nationals with supplies between Kuwait and Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After finishing her assignment in 2007, she was honorably discharged from the military.
Latasha moved to Abilene, Texas where she worked as a Court Clerk Deputy for two years for a Municipal Court. Thereafter in 2008 she moved to Okinawa, Japan (once again in association with the US Air Force) and worked as a help desk analyst for a military bank in communication with branches not only in Japan but also in South Korea and Guam. While in Japan, Latasha had the opportunity to familiarize herself with many other cultures and traveled to China, Thailand and South Korea as well as northern Japan.
In 2012 she returned to Germany, and since has completed her Bachelor of Science through distance education with the University of Maryland, majoring in Psychology and minoring in English. She met her significant other in 2013 and the pair welcomed their first child, a daughter into the world January of 2014 and their second child, a son, in January of 2016.
